When you compare your life to others you are wasting precious time. If your thinking about someone else’s life right now and it’s making you feel bad about your own, stop. Please, just stop right now. There are so many more people out there that have it worse than you do. No matter where you are at, there are people struggling harder. Instead of feeling bad for yourself, feel grateful for what you have, who you are, what you’ve accomplished, and how far you’ve come. You are special, you are loved, and you are a singularly unique human being that matters more than you know. Don’t be sad, be joyful! Celebrate! Look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you matter and you are loved. Because, and I can’t say this enough, you are.
